K i'm going to the doctor tomorrow at 4:30 to talk about getting the IUD. WE DO NOT WANT AND CAN NOT HAVE KIDS UNTIL WE ARE READY! And the patch is not working for me, and I never remember to take pills. I know alot of people advise against it so have at it :-) Let me know before I go :-)

You gotta do whats best for YOU. What's good for one person may not be good for another and that is okay ;).
Amen to Heidi! Before you decide on and IUD I would talk to the Dr. about your situation and what they feel is a good solution. More than likely they will say the IUD. But maybe there is a better solution. It doesn't hurt to ask!
I have a friend who has an IUD called mirana. It is a 5 yr birthcontrol. She said it is amazing. She doesn't cramp, have moodswings, no period (I think that is the best part!) She said it fells like your getting a pap.
It may work a little differently for you. But my friend says it is AWESOME! She said with the 10yr IUD there is a high chance of infertility.
oh...If forgot, my friend I chatted with, says she has two beautiful 2 ft vaces that are deep red that she would love to share with you. I just couldn't remember your colors. Let me know is you are interested in looking.
I suggest the copper one with no hormones...I had Morena and it made me go nuts!! See my post about it...I just barely got it removed because it turned me into a crazy person (more crazy than normal:)). But the copper one doesn't have hormones to screw you up. My sis-in-law and several friends have it and they have had no problems.
