PHOTOGRAPHY.... no matter what anyone says!

I am SO tired of people telling me that you can only be a photographer if you've been trained... just because you have a good camera doesn't mean you are talented and last but not least when they look at my pictures and say "Wow, its amazing what the camera can do" The Camera does not set up the picture. The camera does not position everything.... grrrr. Could I take good pictures without this camera? No. But that doesn't mean that I have no talent! I love taking pictures and I'm learning more and more each day. I may not be a photographer but photography is my hobby. The End. Merry Christmas everyone! :-)

Been a while!

Ok so it's been a while since my last post. I finally got my gall bladder taken out on the 14th (Mom and Dad's wedding anniversary :-)) It went pretty well the only thing I was nervous about was the anesthesia because i've never gone under before but the nurses were really cool and good at taking my mind off it :-) I didn't so much like the gown due to the extreme opening in the back... I thought that was only on movies!! Apparently not. It went pretty fast I think it was like an hour...? and I woke up really well. The doctor came to talk to us after and he was taking to Mom and Alex like I wasn't there and I was responding to the question and he kept saying how surprised he was that I was so awake. I guess most people don't really know whats going on... but I was glad cause thats my biggest fear! Alex is so amazing... after everyone left for a minute he started tearing up and said that he felt so relieved :-) So then I started crying cause I love him so dang much and my heart rate went up so he was like "Stop crying! It JUST got back down to normal and now its up again!" lol :-) I love him. I was super tired and slept most of the day but after taking the hydros I started throwing up. My body doesn't do well with them I guess. And as you can imagine puking after you have an organ removed doesn't help the healing very much.... so I stayed down all week and am feeling tons better now :-)

Christmas Eve is tomorrow! I can't wait. I'm really exicted to go to Alex's grandparents house with his family. We'll be with my family all afternoon and then go to their house later on and I cant wait! It was so much fun last year. I love his family and am SO glad that I have cool in-laws! :-) Its nothing like in the movies where they never get along :-) Speaking of in-law.... only about 5 months til we get married! :-) Its SO long to wait especially because the only reason we planned it that far away is so that there would be no snow and there's snow anyways! Grrr oh well.
