Ok so lots of people are asking me about it so here goes.... there is alot of cool things lol!

What you do is pick what you want to study (Automotive tech, diesel, marine, collision repair) and Alex has picked Automotive. So for the first 6 months he'll be studying that, and then you choose a 3 month program. He chose motorsports chassis fabrication for the 3 months and THEN you can add things on if you want. So he's adding the applied service management program so that he can get his associates degree :-) In three months! Its an awesome program. Some of the cool things about Wyotech are;

* They supply all of the tools you'll need
* While you are enrolled in the school you get 60% off Matco tools and 50% off Snap-On!
* Their placement in a job percentage is 100%, 96-98% is in the first month!
* They have over 40,000 companies who come to their job fairs to hire students. And they go there first.
* After you finish school they send your resume out to all of the companies for you, and after 10 years if you decide you need another job you call them up and for free they will work up another resume and send it out! You're always part of the school.
* If 5 years after you graduate there is a new car or something you want to learn about working on, for FREE you go back to the school as a "floater" and learn about it with the students.
* If you show up to class with your shirt untucked or your hair messy you go home for the day. And employers know this so thats one of the reasons they like to hire students from Wyotech.

There are so many other cool things but thats all I can think of right now. It's a very expensive school but its not like you graduate and then thats it. They always will take care of you and help you find a job.

Candy/Caramel Apples!

Last night after the meeting with the wyotech guy at Alex's house (which i'll post a blog about later today) Alex and I made caramel and candy apples! It's SO fun and SO easy! we're going to do it again closer to Halloween :-) And I want to do sugar cookies too because WalMart has a ton of cool things to decorate with!

Football!

Shane was in the newspaper today for last weeks game :-) He took down the quarterback but then got a 15 yard penalty cause he grabbed his collar which is not allowed this year. But it's a good picture!

I guy that comes into work all the time draws pictures of the guys and this is the one of Bob that I fixed on my phone :-)

For Alex's birthday his dad and mom paid for him to do the derby at the spokane fair on him and his mom's birthday (same day :-)) And his dad gave him the car. The red one in the pictures, kinda small pic.

There were a TON of people there! This is like a third of the people. There were 36 cars and Alex came in 10th which is good for his first derby! At one point he had a car on his hood!

He's so cute and so big now! He is walking really well now! Ok so Alex and I don't even know where we're living when we get married yet but we have all the furniture we need! Here is the 36 inch tv bob got yesterday for us! This old lady just moved here from beverly hills and is trying to get rid of extra stuff (all nice stuff) So we have this tv, a kitchen table and chairs, two floor lamps (so pretty that mom is borrowing them til I move out lol) a big couch with two matching chairs (so comfy!) And then we have my computer desk, our beds, a big bookshelve and a entertainment center! Oh and the tv came with a dvd player! We're set! And so thankful for Bob! So for Mel's birthday I watched the boys for the weekend while she and Derrick went to Spokane over night. It was a ton of fun minus Cade having 3 blow outs. Yuck! And he was teething so he cried ALL night! I got 1 hour of sleep. So Alex came over in the morning and watched the boys so I could sleep :-) I love him! Here's a picture of Cade sleepin on him :-)

SO happy!!

Ok so i've been worrying about the photographer for the wedding... I really want good pictures but they are so dang expensive! So I was looking at the website for the guy here in sandpoint who takes the amazing sports pictures and I saw that if you booked him for a wedding before the end of september then you got 50% off the package for 2010 wedding! I almost cried! lol so mom just called and booked him :-) AND he is splitting up the time for us with no travel charge :-) Because he'll have to go to the temple at 12 for an hour to do our pictures there and then he'll come back here and do the wedding and reception from 5-8 :-) So excited!

HELP!

Ok so the three dates we're trying to decide on are April 10, April 24, and May 1. Any opinions?? I really want to have no snow but I don't know....

Almost positive this is the dress! :-) But the store is in utah and I really want to try it on..obviously lol so I really want to plan a trip where My mom and me and my two sisters can all go together!! :-)

I love these flowers and I think they might look good together but i'm not sure....?

We're engaged!!!!!!!!! :-)

It's 2 karats with both band...the engagement one has a 5/8 karat center! :-) It's so pretty!!The story: So last night we went on a walk around town... we parked downtown and walked all the way to memorial and just walked the path and went on the swings and the train and stuff just having fun :-) And then we started walking back towards the boat launch and we stopped and sat down on the benches. And then Alex went to the bathroom (which I later learned is when he took the ring out of his wallet and put it in his pocket!) so we continued down the trail and when we got to the grassy hill right by the lake we layed down and were looking up at the stars and just talking and being SO in love :-) :-) And then I was literally thinking to myself 'I love this feeling! I want to feel JUST like this when he proposed to me! :-) So we stayed there for a little bit longer and then stood up to leave and while we were kissing he reached in his pocket and took out the ring and got on his knee and said "Valeri, will you marry me?" And I just took there for like 5 seconds and then said "Babe!...." And then like 10 more seconds after staring in desbelief I FINALLY (his words) said "Yes!" And he put it on my finger.... it's gorgeous! It was so perfect, I was facing the lake and it was one of those time where you're just SO happy you can't even describe the feeling! And the Ring! I love it! It was dark and you could still see it sparkle! I called my mom first and told her. She knew it was coming which leads into how he did it all but first..... so we had to walk all the way back into town to my car and it seemed like a blur I was so excited! We kept seeing people like with there doors open and I was like "Let's go tell them!" lol my phone was in my car so I couldn't get there fast enough!
Ok so apparently he was planning on asking me like a week ago when we drove up to the top of Baldy lol but his car kept overheating so I was in a bad mood and we were like stranded so I was being a whimp and scared of animals.... anyways thankfully he didn't do it then! But he had it in the car :-) But I'm SO glad he did it last night. It was PERFECT! Anyways.... so he did ask my mom permission like 2 weeks ago and I guess he's had the ring a little longer than that :-) He went to CDA twice without me knowing!! :-) And he told his parents by telling them that he had a present for me and wanted to know if they liked it. So he showed them the ring :-) They caught on lol So yeah. That's the story!! We're thinking we'll get married Lost in the 50's weekend, but it's NOT set in stone. And that would be May 15th :-)
