My Christmas Present from Alex :-)

This is what Alex got me for Christmas :-) It's NOT an engagement ring, just a ring. Or a promise ring I guess. Trust me, my engagement ring will be bigger :-) Haha, it looks alot smaller in person. It's a 1/4k with white gold so it's pretty small but for a promise ring it's pretty amazing :-) :-) It's an $800 ring but he got it for a good price! :-) I was so amazed at how expensive real diamonds are! I mean just a quarter karat is just shy of a thousand dollars! But it's super pretty :-)

I'll probably be posting more pictures tomorrow of some other christmas stuff and our work christmas party!! I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas!! :-)

Ok, so i'm doing the 12 days of christmas for my mom and these are her presents :-)

It looks weird with only 4 stockings compared to the 8 we used to have. As you can see there is a space in the middle for when michael comes home with his :-)


This is the countdown angel my mom made. The flowers are from her bouqet when she got married, and the lace is from her veil. And then the buttons on the shoes are off of her favorite sweater she had when she was 16!

This year I decided to take on the task on wrapping all the pictures of us 11 kids and the family pictures. It took a while, but I like it :-)

Thanksgiving Dinner!!

Lizzy fell asleep literally 2 minutes after we said the prayer to eat! :-) So Yuri took her upstairs and put her in bed :-)

I was stuck where I was so I just had to reach up and blindly take a picture.

We pushed the couches up against the wall and put tables up. We had 27 people over!

It's a great dane, one just came into the store and he was so cute! He was attached to my hip haha, and he would lean against me and I thought I was going to fall over. The owner said he weight 120 and had his own couch that he doesn't even fit on. They are really nice dogs, he said its in their nature to be nice and the only time they are mean is if you raise them like that. I want one so bad!!

My New Phone! :-)

This is my new phone i'm getting today :-) Shane's getting my voyager and then Melenie is getting Shane's Venus! Haha so it works out for everyone!! :-)

So this weekend Alex and I made this dessert. Its supposed to look like dirt and worms and stuff :-) He was telling me how when he was little he had this at one of his friends' birthday parties and I remembered that my mom had made it before, so I called her and got the recipe :-) So if anyone wants it here it is:

(for this size pot, which was $1.20 at wal*mart!)

* 3 boxes of chocolate pudding ($1 each at wal*mart!)

* 1 package of oreos

* Brownies, either make them from scratch or buy already baked ones somewhere like we did.

First you make the pudding and put it in the fridge while its hardening. And while its in there you can start crushing the oreos and brownies and mixing them together :-) Then you take the pudding out when its done and just mix everything, including some gummy worms together. Then you just sprinkle some more crushed oreos on top to look kind of like fertilizer, and then some more gummy worms and its done! And we obviously put it in a plant thing but Alex said when he had it the boys mom put it in one of those sand castle buckets and she had a little shovel to get it out with :-) Its SO easy. I don't like it because I don't like pudding but its super cheap and it just looks cool! :-)
